Green Party TD Mary White has congratulated both Myshall and the Delta Centre on their historic wins in the National Pride of Place awards organised by Co-Operation Ireland.

Deputy White said, I am absolutely delighted for both Myshall and the Delta Centre on their historic wins in this competition. This is an award for community sprit and I believe both winners have demonstrated community spirit, vision and enlightenment  in their presentation to the judges. It is a wonderful award for both entrants and a significant achievement for Carlow to achieve two  National winners in this competition. I have no doubt that both entrants will reflect on the enormous amount of work that has taken them to this moment and it is a credit to all involved that they have brought Carlow such tremendous success”
