KILKENNY’s new swimming pool will be heated partly using renewable
energy sources, senior engineer Kieran Fitzgerald announced at
Monday’s meeting of Kilkenny Borough Council.
It will be heated using woodchip technology and solar panels will be
installed on the roof, for a combination of gas and renewable energy,
Mr Fitzgerald said.
